No Gym = Dance Workout

Yesterday as gym was cancelled, we did Wii in the classroom.  Every week, we do an incentive for students to finish their work come Friday.  Sometimes, it's a movie, games, or Wii.

Here is one example of kids playing to the Wii, dancing to Michael Jackson.

Snowmen Thermometers

Last Thursday and Friday, students made snowmen thermometers.  Using jumbo popsicle sticks that they painted white, students were instructed on how to make their thermometers!  We also placed magnets on the back for students to place their thermometers on any magnetic surface.  If you're a teacher and are interested in this project, find the instructions at http://crafts.kaboose.com/snowman-thermometer.html

Students chose their own sayings...
